3. Service Agreement Process
Consultation: We begin with a complimentary in-home or virtual consultation to assess your needs.
Proposal: Following consultation, we provide a detailed proposal including scope of work, timeline, and pricing.
Agreement: Services begin once you accept the proposal and any required deposit is paid.
4. Pricing and Payment
Payment Terms:
Deposits may be required to secure scheduling
Payment is due upon completion unless other arrangements are made
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments
Late payments may incur fees after 30 days
Pricing:
Hourly rates for project-based work
Flat-rate packages for specific services
Custom quotes for comprehensive projects
All prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated
5. Scheduling and Appointments
Appointments are scheduled based on mutual availability
We require at least 48 hours notice for rescheduling
Client or authorized representative must be present during initial consultation
Access to work areas must be provided during scheduled sessions

48+ hours notice: Full refund of deposit
24-48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee
Less than 24 hours: Full cancellation fee
Same-day cancellation: Full session charge
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your organizing needs
Ensure safe working conditions
Be available for decision-making during organizing sessions
Disclose any hazards (mold, pests, structural issues)
Secure valuable items you wish to protect
Make final decisions on items to keep, donate, or discard
8. Our Responsibilities
We agree to:
Provide professional, courteous service
Respect your home and belongings
Maintain confidentiality
Work efficiently within agreed timelines
Provide organizing systems tailored to your needs
9. Liability and Disclaimers
Limitation of Liability:
We carry general liability insurance for accidents and property damage
We are not liable for items you choose to discard or donate
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to property
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services
We are not liable for emotional distress or consequential damages
No Warranties: Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or that organized spaces will remain organized without your maintenance.
10. Donated and Discarded Items
You make all final decisions about items to keep, donate, or discard
Once items are removed from your property, they cannot be retrieved
We are not responsible for items disposed of per your direction
Donation receipts are your responsibility for tax purposes
11. Photography and Marketing
We may request permission to photograph completed projects
Photos will only be used with your written consent
You may request anonymity or blurring of identifying details
You may revoke photo usage consent at any time
12. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:

Condition of your home or office
Items and belongings observed during service
Private or sensitive information encountered
13. Independent Contractor
Deluxe Organizers operates as an independent contractor. Our team members are not your employees.
